Townsville Civic Theatre closes for major refurbishment

Townsville Civic Theatre will be closing for a major refurbishment from January 1 2018 and will re-open in time for the Australian Festival of Chamber Music late July. The theatre will be 40 next year and will be undergoing a works schedule including a new roof, new fire safety system, new air conditioning ducting and new wiring.
