In 2019, Gambling Community Benefit Fund (GCBF) celebrates 25 years of supporting local community groups and support services. To recognise this milestone, a commemorative grants funding round will be available to 11 successful applicants for initiatives that will significantly benefit Queensland communities. Ten $100,000 grants and one $250,000 grant will be awarded.
Queensland community-based not-for-profit groups may be eligible if seeking:
- funding for major capital works (excluding repairs/refurbishment of existing facilities unless of cultural significance);
- major equipment items;
- wider community events or festivals and transportation (e.g. cars, boats, buses etc).
