Somerset Civic Centre offers an outstanding, flexible mix of event, performing arts and meeting spaces, located in the heart of the Somerset Region.

Set between the Somerset and Wivenhoe lakes, Esk is a centre-point between Brisbane, the Sunshine Coast and Toowoomba, making the Somerset Civic Centre an ideally positioned venue in the region.

The multi award winning eco-resilient Centre sits comfortably within a natural setting, inspired by the dominant Glen Rock nearby, whilst the building is a modern interpretation of an agricultural structure. A wonderful three-dimension tessellated portico is a striking component that gives way to a stunning interior space, bathed in natural light.

With a guest capacity of 600 in theatre style, the auditorium can comfortably seat 300 for dining and is serviced by a well-appointed commercial kitchen and bar. The large stage, audio visual technology, backstage facilities and loading access enable seamless delivery of the performing arts. Both the multi-purpose Lyceum Room and Joan Burke Rooms can accommodate smaller groups in a myriad of formats.

Catering for community, civic, corporate events and meetings with ample adjacent parking and accessibility, the experienced team will work with you to deliver your next event.
