Artlands 2021 is Regional Arts Australia’s strategic exchange that responds to emerging trends, discovers new ideas, considers adapted approaches and showcases artists as well as highlighting the creative and cultural sector across regional, rural and remote Australia.

Artlands will run September 1-3 and will use digital to augment the live experience, partnering with 4 national venues who will become local Artlands hubs.

Empire Theatres, in partnership with Regional Arts Australia, is the Queensland Regional Hub. The Toowoomba event will stream in Keynote presentations and panels, all of which will have two-way communication with Launceston and other regional venue partners in NT and WA.

In addition, the Toowoomba event will feature live panels, discussions and workshops that feed into both the Queensland and National conversation, and an artistic program that will nurture, enable and inspire delegates’ creativity.

  • Araluen Arts Centrein Arrernte Country (Alice Springs)
  • Red Earth Arts Precinct in Ngarluma Country (Karratha)
