There is no longer a requirement for restricted businesses to operate under a COVID Safe Industry Plan or any of the ‘industry specific’ COVID Safe Checklists. The Industry COVID Safe Plan for Queensland’s Live Performance Venues/Theatres has been revoked, however venues may refer to some or all of the measures in the plan, noting that compliance with this plan is no longer mandatory.
All businesses must use a COVID Safe Checklist or COVID Safe Event Checklist in replacement of a COVID Safe Industry Plan, or COVID Safe Event Plan.
Venues must comply with their Site Specific Plan and follow the Direction or the COVID Safe Checklist if there is an inconsistency between the two.
