Patrons will enjoy a better, more comfortable theatre-going experience following The Events Centre’s popular Playhouse Theatre $665,000 facelift. New ceilings, walls and floor coverings have been installed with acoustic treatments to theatre standards and modern comfortable seating has included increased viewing space for persons with special needs.
The redevelopment comes after The Events Centre and Sunshine Coast Council successfully applied for funding from the Local Government Grants and Subsidies Program.
The Playhouse Theatre is the smaller and more intimate of the two theatres in The Events Centre.
